Vintage Rhinestone Brooch Shades of Blue Enamel Leaves Jewelry
Although unsigned, this brooch has the look of Weiss jewelry to me. I could be wrong so please do your own research if you care to. This brooch has an unusual construction to me. The base is a variety of shades and sizes of blue rhinestones, some with an Aurora Borealis finish. The next layer is a metal length of leaves that have enamel on them. Rising above that are two more rhinestones. This brooch has a gold tone setting and all rhinestones are prong set. It measures 2.25" long and is 1" at it's widest, center area. Overall, it looks to be in pretty great condition. I do wonder if the pin was replaced as there is a little more pooling there than I would expect to see. If so, it was definitely professionally done and it may in fact be original.
